Obituary of Wayne Jeffrey Baker

Bedford Wayne Jeffrey Baker, 50, of 1312 9th Street, Bedford, died at 10:00 am on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at his residence.Born January 20, 1957 in Bedford, he was the son of Arthur Ishmael and Carole (Flynn) Baker. He had worked at General Motors and was co-owner of Mid-West Metal Spinning, Inc. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1975 and attended the Springville Pentecostal Church. He loved riding motorcycles, boating, fishing and had a soft spot in his heart for dogs.Survivors include his mother, Carole Baker of Bedford; two sons, Justin Riley Baker and his wife Cami and Jeffrey Tyler Baker all of Bedford; Waynes former wife, Kimberly Korvela-Baker; two grandchildren, Whitney Alexis Baker and Brayden Lee Patton; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; grandparents, Floyd C. and Sarah Elizabeth Flynn and Arthur M. and Evangeline Baker. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Darrell E. Flynn officiating.
