Sorry to hear this. I got to know Phillip during my 1st year of teaching at Oolitic in 1966. I suspect he never knew a stranger. It was a pleasure to know Phillip and he is someone you never forget.

To all the family, I was so sorry to hear of Phillip's passing. I don't think I had ever seen him when he wasn't smiling. I told him he looked a lot like his grandpa (Our "Uncle Claude",) and his brother Claude. He liked that. He was always happy to see us and hug us and he always cheered us up. He is going to be missed by all our family. I'm sorry that we won't see him again here on earth, but I'm sure he is in Heaven with the rest of the family now. I'm really sorry I couldn't come to the funeral, but as most of you know, I live in Bloomington now and am no longer driving. I am sure there were a lot of family there anyway because everyone who knew Phillip loved him. Love to all my Hillenburg Cousins, we've always felt really close to all of you. You're in our prayers.

We are so sorry to hear about "Pippy's" passing. He was a distant cousin to us. The last time I saw him was at a concert at Grace Full Gospel Church & he was smilin' from ear to ear. I know he is rejoicing with Jesus right now, & I can bet you his smile is even bigger now. Prayers & hugs for all the family.
