Dave was a really nice guy. I lived up the street from him as a child, then as a young man, met him again at GM. He always had a smile and genuinely seemed happy to see me at work or in a store in town. My thoughts are with Dave’s family at this time.

Pop, I miss you so much. I wish I would have been as good a son to you as you were as good a dad to me. If I could be half the Dad and Papa you are, my kids and grandkids will love me dearly. I hope thru Jesus we are reunited again some day in His presence, and in the mean time, I will always love you and miss you so, so much. Thanks for all you have done for us and for the love you always gave Mom, your kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
