So sad to hear of Jan's passing, but I have no doubt where she is. I'm so sorry I was unable to come to the visitation. Jan was one of the sweetest people I ever met. She genuinely cared about everyone and was so loving and kind, and she glowed with The Light of The Lord. While we are awaiting our turn, Jan is in the presence of The Lord, and she knows Him face-to-face. Isaiah 57:1&2 basically says no one thinks about why the good die young, but it is to be spared from evil. We don't know what she is being spared from, but we trust The Lord & we praise Him for loving Jan even more than we do. Won't be long before we see her again. Till then, praying that God will give you His peace.

Breaks my heart to hear of Jan’s passing. She was so helpful and kind to every one she met and knew. We worked on the same side of the square for different attorneys but she was the best at calmly answering any and all questions. Prayers for her family. She was a gem.

David and family. Mom and I are so sad to hear of Jan's passing. She was such a sweet person and we always enjoyed visiting with her. She was so talented musically and was a great example for me in being the Bedford Baptist Association Clerk. She did the job for many years (at least 8). I will miss her smile. David and the rest of Jan's family: I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jan. I had no idea she was at Westview. I would often meet her as we passed in the hallways at the courthouse or were crossing the street as we went about our jobs. I especially remember singing Christmas Carols around the square. I treasured her sweet and gentle disposition. Her passing hurts my heart, I can only imagine the loss you all must feel. Prayers for peace to you all.

I remember Jan when she worked next door for Joe Sullivan in Bloomfield. She had a sweet way about her and was a very gentle soul. She was a Christian in every sense of the word. To the family, you said good night to her but will meet her again on the reserection morning.

Jan was one of the nicest and sweetest people I have ever known in my life. She was solid gold through and through. She helped me with personal problems more than once. She also volunteered her time to help with Owensburg Cemetery of which I was very very appreciative. In 2002 I gave her a small painting. I am including the picture of Jan holding the painting.
