Obituary of Lana Lynn Eggers

Bedford – Lana Lynn Eggers, 62, of Bedford went to meet her Lord Jesus Christ at 2:57 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born January 29, 1958 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Lloyd Wadsworth and Mary Alice (Conner) Lackey. Lana married Michael E. Eggers on September 7, 1973 in Gallatin, TN. Lana was a beautiful lady, full of love. She was caring and compassionate with a heart of gold. She spent her life helping others as a nurse and touched many lives. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved unconditionally and with her whole heart. Survivors include her husband, Michael, of Bedford; two daughters, Gina (Darren) Cheatham and Camella Owens; seven grandchildren, Kaleb (Morgan) Baker, Joshua, Nathan, and Hannah Cheatham, Kaitlyn and Kaiden Owens, and Kolten Mosier; two great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Ezekial Baker; three brothers, Dennis (Sue), Randy, and Layne (Crystal); one sister, Constance (Gerald) Kern; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Michael Shane and Jeremy Andrew Eggers. Private services are planned. Burial will be in Fayetteville Community Cemetery.
