Charlie used to do a lot of things helping my grandfather Charlie Priddy when I was a kid. I always loved when Charlie was around as he was fun and always smoking his pipe. He and grandpa would always argue about the smoke but it was all in good fun. I remember him being very afraid of snakes. Once, we were waiting to get into my grandpas farm at Murdock and a train had stopped blocking the road. Charlie said he was going to the track to check out a car full of lumber. When he just got to the cars, one of the guys with us said watch and yelled "watch out for the black snake by the rail!". Well, Charlie jumped the ditch in a single leap and Id have never guessed he could move that fast back to were we were sitting. He was a good man and the world is a little less good with him gone. My condolences.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was a truly colorful and comical character and will be missed by many. My family and his have known each other for several number of years since we only lived a couple blocks apart. Sincere condolences to Lois, Charlene and Jim.

I hope that all the great moments that you were able to have with him before he passed away brings you comfort. Remember the trips you took, the horse pulls you attended with him, the garden planting, and so much more. Charlie was one of a kind and will be truly missed. Oh how I loved this man. His daughter Charlene is one of my dearest friends who so graciously shared her parents with myself and many others. He gave me his worn out bibs and we made purses from them. He thought that was just great. He and Mama Lois always made me feel so welcome in their home. He was quite a character and will be missed by so many. RIP Papa Charlie.
