Obituary of Jerry Edward Seidle

Bedford – Jerry Edward Seidle, 84, of Bedford, died at 4:28 am on Monday, May 13, 2019 at his residence.

Born September 28, 1934 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Walter and Dorothy (McDonald) Seidle. He married Twanette Fiddler on February 25, 1961 and she survives. He retired as a brick layer after thirty-one years at General Motors and he was a member of the U.S. National Guard and Englewood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Twanette, of Bedford; three sons, Brian Seidle and wife, Catherine, of Jacksonville, FL, Brett Seidle and wife, Claudia, and Brad Seidle and wife, Natalie, all of Bedford; grandchildren, Alec Seidle, Alaina Seidle, Aaron Seidle, Christian Seidle, Alexis Seidle, Parker Seidle, and Preston Seidle; two brothers, Rudy and David Seidle; a sister, Norma Jean Farrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Lloyd Seidle, and a sister, Loretta Speer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 17^th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 16^th and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Friday, May 17^th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
