June was the best example of person I ever met. I loved the time we spent together for. 18 years. These were the best times in my life. Of course Ralph was the best father figure anyone could have. I love and try to emulate his greatness and yet his humbleness.
There is no doubt that she is with Jesus. I hope and pray I live my life to be with her in eternity.
My condolences everyone who knew her and especially her dear family. They are in my prayers.
Sorry and God Bless You!!’

Dear Ralph, Beth and Suz,
So deeply sadden to hear of our sweet June's passing. My heart breaks knowing how much she will be missed but I have so many fond memories of my time with June I could write for days. I use to spend all my early childhood years playing with Suz and enjoying my time being at the Harrell's home and I was there ALOT. As soon as my feet hit the floor I was off to see the Harrell home to play. I ate many of a dinner with them and I always loved her pretty blue dishes. She was a great cook and I loved sitting around her kitchen table.. After playing all day outside with Suz doing kick ball, mud pies, swinging on the play set or our fun yard games like red rover red rover it was a great way to grow up with such positive and kind role models. I have so many awesome memories being with Ralph, June and Suz. Our trips to Jack's Drive In in the model T were some of the best times in my life. Ralph and June were always kind, happy and welcoming ! We will see you on the other side June. All my love to Ralph, Beth and Suz!
xoxo Rob

Very sorry to (belatedly) hear the sad news of June's passing. If you needed to find Ann and myself, if we were not at home, we were most likely at the Harrell's house playing with Beth and Susie. When I think of June, I see her in her kitchen; cooking. June always welcomed us with friendly smile and always made us feel welcome; no matter how loud we were. June will be missed by all who knew her and surely most of all by her family. I'm so sorry to hear of their loss.

Thank you Mother…
…for giving me life
...for loving me, being always generous with your awesome smile and for loving EVERYBODY
…for feeding us yummy meals with at least two choices for dessert and for teaching me how to set a welcoming table for company
…for the visits to the poor newlyweds with armsful of groceries and Jackson County beef … and sometimes for loans
...for helping move me and move me and move me
…for piano lessons
...for the annual vacations & trips to Coney Island and for all the special little treats brought home to two little girls from anywhere and everywhere you visited without us
…for never refusing to let us have a rabbit, duck, chick, fish, turtle, crawdad, cat or mouse & mostly a dog
…for acceptance and encouragement without ever pushing
…for setting an example of an impeccable work ethic
…for taking me to church and Sunday School and for teaching me the importance of faith in something greater than anything on earth
...for never ever using an ethnic slur but for treating every single person as someone special who will always know they are welcome in your home ------- and for accepting all my friends as your friends
...for the great effort made for memorable family reunions and friendly get-togethers
...for the laughs & fun times and birthday cakes and Easter baskets and Christmas presents and bicycles and roller skating at Anderson Rollerland and for swimming at Spring Mill and Otis Park pool
...for letting me be silly, laughing at me appreciatively and for accepting me with my quirky differences
…for quietly suffering through a lifetime of a daughter in ratty t-shirts and blue jeans when you may have preferred she wear a stylish pantsuit
…for the only once in a very great while advice - spot on and exactly when it was needed
...for being proud of me and for always always being there for me….no judgment….no details necessary….and for never giving me reason to ever have to doubt that I had the gift of a devoted Mothers’ love

My dear sweet Harrell family, I have so many great memories of Christmas together, Halloween parties, Suzies birthday parties, and of course the wonderful singing and Ralph playing the mandolin with Uncle Kenny on the guitar and Aunt Margaret playing the piano. I couldn't have had a better childhood surrounded by your love. Thank you for such a bonding experience. My love to each and every one of you! June will be missed but in my heart forever!

Beloved neighbor! When Don and I got married June begged me not to move him out of the neighborhood and then they moved up the road! As God can only plan we would spend the last years of her life at church together. These two took their vows seriously and were such a good team. Seeing them out taking a drive in the old car always brought a smile to my face.

I was just a young girl that would visit the Cobb's next door to Mrs. Harrell's home. We would play with Su Lynn and Beth, and Mrs. Harrell was always so nice to me. I remember her warm smile and kind nature.

We just heard of the passing of one of our favorite people, I have so many fond memories hanging out with SuLynn and going over to her house where June was always smiling and feeding us, June and Ralph were like my other set of parents, I loved going over there where the house was filled with music and laughter, June playing the piano and Ralph playing the mandolin.
Our heart and prayers go out to the family, she was an amazing woman. Lots of hugs coming your way.
Take care,

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother,
and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 -
"The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away
the tears from all faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4, we find
God's promise to remove both pain and death. For more comfort,
