I didn't know Homer, but I'm sure my parents, Harvey & Marie (Hillenburg) Jeffries did. Mom graduated from OHS in 1943 and Daddy in 1946 (after the war). I worked for Indiana Bell from 1964 to 1989 so I probably knew of him then. I am so sorry for your loss and will remember his family in prayer.

Our deepest condolences on the passing or your Dad and Grandfather. Homer was a wonderful neighbor to us for many years. We always enjoyed talking to him and hearing about his fishing adventures. Our kids adored him as well. The candy cane tree on his porch was one of their favorite holiday traditions. Our prayers will be with your family in the days ahead.
