Dear Connie, My cousin, Lee Polk emailed me about Vivian's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. Vivian and her mother, Mary, were two of the nicest ladies I have ever known. They were both favorites of my mother, too. My condolences to your family. Jan

I am very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Aunt Vivian very well, but I heard many stories from my late mother, Nancy Rogers(Mcfarland), her niece. I am sure there is a large reunion in heaven this week! I hope you can find comfort during this difficult time, and may God Bless You.

I first knew Vivan when I was a child and she attended the same church as my family. Later on, I worked with her at Indana Bell. Vivian was a hard worker and was proud of her family. She was always smiling and congenial. I'm sure she will be missed by many people and I feel honored to have known her. My thoughts & prayers are with her family at this time.

My brother and I were never "step," we were always grandchildren. She made Thanksgiving and Christmas special every year. I will always remember her wonderful party mix and how we fought over it! And I will always remember that she was a truly loving mother and grandmother. Her family was the world to her.

Our fondest memory of Vivian is what a great cook and hostess she was. No matter when we visited, she always had some homemade goodies ready and would send little containers filled with goodies when we would leave...unless we ate everything! She absolutely adored babies and made over her grandchildren or great grandchildren like there were none other like them, which of course, there weren't. She also loved the Lord and we enjoyed many discussions of the Bible and how God takes care of us. She was generous and always remembered your birthday. She loved knitting and would make gifts for people. And she especially enjoyed playing cards with special friends. We will miss her and cherish her memory.
