I am sorry to learn today Feb, 19 that dear Rev. Merle Craig passed on from here; but glad he's with Jesus. Many people will always hold him in high regards. He was the most gentle, caring Pastor I ever met. I know everyone misses such a godl, friendly man.

Trella Ranee--So very sorry to hear about your Dad. I have many fond memories of him, and I loved to hear him preach! I believe that in my younger days, he might have even been one of my camp counselors. My prayers go up for you and your family! May God give you the strength to do those things you cannot do for yourself!

We were so sorry to hear about Merla passing. The Lord used him to impact the lives of so many of us who grew up under his ministry, and surrounding areas as well. My greatest memory is when we came down to visit and he asked us to sing, afterward he said that all of us who were members of the Owensburg Baptist Church and moved away, were actually missionaries being sent out to work in other parts of this world, even if it was only 100 miles away. So when I think of how far his witness has gone, I just know God is celebrating Merla's life in heaven together with all the other saints. What a Day That Will Be, When We All Get To Heaven.
