I consider myself very lucky to have been harrassed, and called a friend, by Raymond Dean Cheek. He was a special guy. We spent almost 3 years together at the American Embassy in Vienna Austria. We worked together and played together. He harrassed me for being from California, my wife for being Italian, and we loved it. He never did get me to buy a pair of cowboy boots but he did get me to like Johhny Cash. I never met a guy from Indiana that couldn't play basketball, and Ray was no exception. We had a great time on the court whooping up on the Marine guards, and he was always the star. Although we hadn't seen each other much recently, I will miss him dearly knowing that I will never see his smiling face again. Love you man. May God bless Diane, and the entire family. Rich
