Chris and Candy, So sorry to read about the loss of your mom. She was such a kind and caring person. She was a very wise nurse who helped others many years and taught those of us who were younger what kind of nurses we wanted to become. I think of her, Doris Betz, and Millie Everett often. They were nurses I am proud to say were my mentors and helped me grow professionally, to work hard, and don't be afraid to push the boundaries of your profession. For that I thank them all. Now 25 years into my career, I hope I am having the same impact on my co-workers. Your mom was always so proud of you girls and was so excited when she was able to move to Bedford and could be closer to IU. She had quite a passion for IU basketball. One of the few things I ever seen her get too upset about, an IU loss. Blessings and hugs! Ruth
