Obituary of F. Lowell Stailey
Bedford F. Lowell Stailey, 71, of 981 Stars Blvd., Bedford, passed away at 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel.
Born January 21, 1941 in Oolitic, he was the son of Jesse and Pearl (Moore) Stailey. He married Ruthie Lynn on August 3, 1959 and she survives. He retired as a millwright in the skilled trades department at General Motors in Bedford. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bedford Elks Lodge, Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Shriners International.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie of Bedford; a son, Mike Stailey and wife, Debbie of Greenwood; a daughter, Julie DAlesio and husband, Fred of Sausalito, CA; two sisters, Ruth Plummer and Jeanne Speer and husband, Fred all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
