I was so sorry to hear of Lowell's passing, but he's been through a lot in recent years, so I am glad he won't suffer any more. I'm glad to have known Lowell, he was a good man who loved his family a great deal.
Ever since I can remember, the Stailey family was as close to us as extended family. Lowell was only five years older than me, and I always thought of him almost as a distant cousin.
It's always hard to lose someone we love, but seems even harder at this time of year when we're anticipating spending more time with our families. My mom passed on Nov. 29 (1995). My heart goes out to all of the Stailey family in your sorrow and I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope memories of happier times together can sustain you and comfort your hearts.
