Obituary of Helen L. Reuter

Bedford Helen L. Reuter, 93, of Bedford, died at 6:03 am on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Stonebridge Health Campus. Born February 25, 1913 in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John and Zella Mae (Williams) Manzenberger. She married Robert L. Reuter on August 30, 1930 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1973. She retired from Indiana University. She was a member of Dive Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter-in-law, Margot Reuter, Bedford, one grandson, Ronald Reuter and his wife Linda of Bedford, one granddaughter, Mona Gould and her husband, Daniel of Bedford, six great grandchildren, one brother, Frank Manzenberger of Oolitic, five sisters, Angie Sego, Mildred Deckard, Louella Clampitt and Alpha McKnight all of Bedford and Mary Jane Moses of Columbus. She was preceded in death by: her husband, one son, Gordon Reuter, three brothers, Joe Manzenberger, William Manzenberger and John Manzeberger, Jr., one sister, Katherine Covey and one grandson, Raymon Reuter. Funeral Information Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, November 24, 2006 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 8:00 am until the hour of the service on Friday at the mortuary.
