Obituary of Romar O. Reuter

Springville Romar O. Reuter, 83, of Springville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Born June 3, 1926, he was the son of Emmett and Minnie (Fish) Reuter. He married Wanda Anderson on August 5, 1946 and she survives. He was a decorated veteran of WW II and after his proud service to our country, he was called to serve our Lord as a minister for many years. He was a wonderful man who loved the Lord with all his heart. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-three years, Wanda; a son, Kenny Reuter of Bedford; daughters, Patty Watkins and husband, Stan, Judy Hudson and husband, Kenny and Darlene Arnold and husband, Brian all of Springville; grandchildren, Keith Denney, Brent Denney and wife, Samantha, Kathy England, Scott Martindale and wife, Kelly, Misti Beck and husband, Jim, Brandyn Arnold, Devyn Arnold and Lexi Reuter; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Freddie, Robert and Elbert Reuter. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, March 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Roscoe Godsey and Bro. Alan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery where military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
