Obituary of Betty Jean Reuter

Bedford Betty Jean Reuter, 84, of 1817 E Street, Bedford, died at 10:40 am on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at her residence. Born February 16, 1924 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Oval and Flossie (Lee) Henderson. She married Don Reuter on March 30, 1941 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southland Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Don of Bedford; one son, Ronnie Reuter and his wife, Mary of Springville; five grandchildren, Kim Blackwell and her husband, Scott of Bedford, Kerry Reuter of Bedford, Susan Wykoff and her husband, Bob of Bedford, Steve Reuter of Blomburg, Germany and Donna Owen of Bedford; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Sears and his wife, Marcy of Bedford; one sister, Janice Wagoner and her husband, Bob of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bob Bottorff and one sister, Barbara Alhorn. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Alan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 15th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, June 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
