Obituary of Daniel Austin Reed

Bedford Daniel Austin Reed, 25, of 661 E. Oolitic Road, Bedford, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 as a result of undetected heart disease which led to coronary arrest at his residence. Born December 4, 1983 in Bedford, he was the son of Eric and Rebecca (Scoggan) Reed. He married Stacie Lampros and she survives. He was employed at C & M Conveyer in Mitchell. Daniel was a kind, loving, non-judgmental man who would help anyone in need. He never had a bad word for anyone. He enjoyed outdoor activities and loved fishing with his son. Survivors include his wife, Stacie of Bedford and son, Triton Austin Shawn Reed (age 2); his father, Eric Reed of Sullivan, IN; his mother, Rebecca Reed of Bedford; his step-father, Timothy VanMeter; two brothers, Tyler Shawn Reed and his fiance Jesse Siniard and Landon Joseph Reed both of Bedford Aunt and Uncles, Pami and Jeff Arthur, Randall John Scoggan; Cousin, Jeffrey Tanner Arthur; maternal grandparents, Dale and Vickie Raber-Summers of Elkhart, IN and John and Terri Scoggan of Bedford; two step-sons, Uriah Larson and Robert Christenberry; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Nikirk officiating. Burial will follow in Scoggan Cemetery in Lawrence County. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, August 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
