Obituary of Maxine Ray

Seymour Maxine Ray, 84, of Seymour, died at 5:05 am on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. Born January 14, 1926 in Lawrence Co., IN, she was the daughter of Lafeyette and Maude (Phillips) Scott. She married Reginald Rex Ray and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ in Anderson, IN. Survivors include two sons, Scott Ray of Halewea, HI and Reggie Ray of Seymour, IN; five grandchildren, Terry, John, Heath, Seth and Isaac Ray and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald in 1987; three sisters, Mable Robinson, Hattie Morris and Madge Carmichael; two brothers, Clifford and Kenny Scott. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 16th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rev. Johnnie Spivey officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
