Obituary of Mildred Elizabeth Ratkovich

Bedford Mildred Elizabeth Ratkovich, 89, of Bedford, and formerly of Indianapolis, died at 6:45 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Johnsons Christian Village in Bedford. Born March 16, 1925 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Matthew and Mary (Maros) Ratkovich. She retired from Eli Lilly in 1995 after working 47 years and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Surviving is a brother, Daniel Ratkovich of Bedford; her caregivers, Beverly and Lary Wray and Donna Myers all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Rosa Taylor, Catherine Poole, Anna Spaulding, Josephine Strunk and Amanda Skidmore; one brother, John Ratkovich. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 7th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, August 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
