Rita and family, We were shocked, then saddened to learn of Bear's sudden passing. Although Carol and I have not known you and Bear all our lives, we consider both of you to be among the short list of who we consider our best friends. We wish our lives were not so busy that we could have spent more time with you and Bear. We will miss Bear, his humor and wit. He was the reason I looked forward to Saturday nights at the Legion. Saturday nights were not the same without you and Bear there. Again, it was with shock and sadness on learning of Bear's passing, but he is in a place now where he his without pain and suffering.
