Obituary of Clara Bartley

Bedford Clara Bartley, 96, of 2103 Thirty-third Street, Bedford, died Monday, November 15, 2010 at her residence. Born March 6, 1914, she was the daughter of Oscar and Mabel Elizabeth (Rich) Anderson. She married Glen Bartley and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Charles Robert (Charlie Bob) Bartley and Harold Dean Bartley and wife, Sandra all of Bedford; one sister, Mary Smith of Bedford; a granddaughter, Debbie Bartley-Strahl of Bedford; a grandson, Michael Bartley and wife, Joyce of Lizton two great granddaughters, Allison England and husband, Tim of Bedford and Micaela Bartley of Lizton; a great grandson, Tyler Strahl of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen; a daughter, Janet Sue Sis Bartley; six brothers, Richard, Wayne, Art, Ken, Ed and Harry Anderson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 19th at the Englewood Baptist Church with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
