Barbara was my second cousin. I remember going to her house with my grandmother, her aunt (Lilly McDowell Edwards) to see all the aunts and uncles when they would come in town for visits during the summers. We would always have good food and fun times. I will always cherish those days when I was a little girl.

Barbara was my 1st Cousin, as well as one of my best friends. As children, Barbara and I would go with her Dad (Burl) to pay the store bill. This always got us a little bag of candies that we shared during a double feature western that Burl took us to see at the Lawrence Theater. Barbara was more like a sister to me than a cousin, and I am very glad for that part of her life that we shared together. You were indeed a good person!!!
