Obituary of Jerry L. Puckett

OoliticJerry L. Puckett, 65, of 308 Milwaukee Avenue, Oolitic, passed away at 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 15th at his residence. Born on February 3, 1939 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ruby Puckett. He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in Chicago and was of Pentecostal Faith. Surviving are two sons: Michael L. Puckett of Spring City, TN and Gary A. Puckett of Marietta GA; two brothers: Bob Boling of Indianapolis, IN and Paul Boling of Oolitic; three grandchildren: Ashley Puckett, Leah Puckett and Bradley Puckett. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister: Beverly Brassine. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 19th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter on Monday, October 18th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
