Obituary of Adam W. Przychocki

Bedford Adam W. Przychocki, 88, residing in Bedford with Joe, Helen and Julie Chase and formerly of Ridgewood, NJ, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born September 29, 1924 in New York, NY, he was the son of Ignatz and Antonia (Hahn) Przychocki. He married Eileen Maher on November 10, 1951 and she died December 19, 1996. He was employed with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for thirty-five years, retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Episcopal church, Masonic Scotia Lodge # 634 F & AM and Gillen Post #33 American Legion in Bedford. Survivors include six nephews, Robert (Janice) Chase of New Bern, NC, Mark (Janet) Chase, Joseph (Helen) Chase all of Bedford, Brian (Gina) Chase of Massena, NY, Michael(Peaches) Przychocki of Roosevelt, NJ and John Przychocki of New York, NY; two nieces, Connie Chase Beaupre of Parrish, FL and Anna (Russell) Coit of Brooklyn, NY; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, Walter, Vincent and Brian; three sisters, Mary, Theresa and Helen. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with John Lee officiating. Military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion following the funeral service. Burial will take place in Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the hour of service on Friday, November 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
