Obituary of Emmalou Pruett

Norwood, NC Emmalou Pruett, 91, of Norwood, NC, formerly of Bedford, died at 3:30 am on February 23, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Norwood, NC. Born February 21, 1915 in Rantoul, IL, she was the daughter of William Wilson and Daisey (Troy) Dowling Wilson. She married W. M. (Bill) Pruett in March 11, 1939 in Salem, IN and he died in 1969. She was employed at M. Fine & Sons and had been a member of the Eagles Lodge in Bedford for several years. She was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include one daughter, Rosalie Yeskie and her husband, Bill of Norwood, NC; four grandchildren, Alison Pruett of Salt Lake City, UT, Jennifer Pruett of Atlanta, GA, William Yeskie who is currently deployed with the North Carolina National Guard and Andrew Yeskie, who is a student at Virginia Military Institute; one niece, Wanda Fleenor of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, William Pruett; two sisters, Rosella Dowling and Flora Elizabeth Wilson; two brothers, Raymond and Roy Dowling. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 25th at Beech Grove Cemetery in Bedford. Burial will follow. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, February 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
