Obituary of Ruby M. Pritchard

Bedford Ruby M. Pritchard, 94, of Bedford, died at 2:27 am on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born October 20, 1913 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of General Harrison and Mary Elizabeth (Mason) Black. She married W. Raymond Pritchard and he died in November 1996. She worked and retired from Sarkes-Tarzian in Bloomington and a member of the Friendly Bible Church in Bedford. Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. Pritchard and his wife, Michelle of Bloomington and Donald Ray Pritchard and his wife, Martha of Needmore; three daughters, Florence M. Walls, Joan Allen and her husband, Duane of Bedford, Sharon Kay Staley and her husband, Raymond L. of Oolitic; twelve grandchildren, Jim Pritchard, Monty Pritchard, Kelsey Pritchard, R.J. Pritchard, Tracy Pritchard, Kent Pritchard, Dennis Walls, Denise Young, Kelley Hicks, Karol Wheeler, Kristi Topoais, Tina Sparks, Brian Staley, Kurt Staley; eighteen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren and one sister, Beulah Baurke of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of forty-nine years, W. Raymond, one son, William Harrison Quillen; one granddaughter, Dana Marie Staley; two great grandchildren, Travis Young and Thomas Walls; one brother, Charles Lindsey Black; three sisters, Clara Linthicumb, Lula Epperson and Gladys Blazek. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Joe Stevens and Pastor Jerry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 13th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, January 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
