Obituary of Jack L. Price

BedfordJack L. Price, 72, of 1511 4th Street, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 8, 2005. Born on April 19, 1932 in Martin County, IN he was the son of Von Price and Fannie (Jackson) Price. He was a retired construction worker, member of the Laborers Int. Union of North America Local #741 and a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married Bettye Jean in 1964 and she died on September 9, 1995. Surviving are four sisters: Farrel Teague and Eulah Chitwood both of Bloomington, IN; Betty Mundy of Indianapolis, IN and Jewell Smith of Linton, IN; his close friend: Helen Parsons of Bedford, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, six sisters and one brother. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 11th with Rev. Bennie Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in Owensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, January 10th from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. and on Tuesday from noon until the hour of service.
