Obituary of Wayne F. Potts

Bedford-Wayne F. Potts, 83, of 430 Sycamore Drive, Bedford, passed away at 8:15 A.M. Sunday, April 13th at Bedford Regional Medical Center.Born on May 13, 1924 in Dubois County, IN, he was the son of James Ira Potts and Rose (Stevens) Potts. He retired as manager of Farm Bureau Insurance; was a member of Englewood Baptist Church, a former city councilman and former member of the Bedford Lions Club. He was a veteran serving in W.W. II in the Army. On October 26, 1946 he married Marilyn Ruth Wininger and she survives.Surviving with his wife, Ruthie of Bedford is a daughter: Sherri E. Elliott of Bedford; two sons: Gary W. Potts of Henderson, NV and Barry K. Potts of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one brother: Paul Potts of Bedford and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev.
