Uncle Merle - we will miss you greatly, but we will always have our pictures of us girls (Brooks, Becky, Amanda, Derika) that we took every year to show how much we had changed, and we will remember when we look at them how you always seemed to sneak in and get your picture taken with us - we always named our pictures "The girls & sometimes Merle" - We love you, Derika & Amanda

Frances and Family, Merel was a wounderful man, one thing sticks in my mind as I think of him is how he treated everyone as his friend. I can see him and my daddy coming in from the field when I was very young and them setting down to a noon meal. Oh my heat is breaking he was just a great man. Wish I could be there but with Lon medical condition I cant but your all in my prayers and always in my heart. Love you all Rhonda

Someone as special as MERLE will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts forever. He was so good to my sons, he taught them many things. He was thought of as DAD to them. Thank you and may God be with you and your family and heal your broken hearts.
