Obituary of Emma L. Poole

Bedford Emma L. Poole, 64, of 79 Heartland Street, Oolitic, died at 12:24 pm on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born May 17, 1943, she was the daughter of Alex and Maggie (Morrow) Wilson. She married Jerry Poole on October 30, 1961 and he survives. She was a factory worker for PRD and a member of the Williams Baptist Church. Surviving with her husband, Jerry is one son, Kevin Poole and his wife, Pam of Bedford; one daughter, Renee Arthur and her husband, Roger of East Oolitic; two granddaughters, Kayla and Emilee Arthur; five step-grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; three sisters, Zelma Crane, Rosalee Crane, Kathy New and her husband, Bob all of East Oolitic; two brothers, Floyd Wilson and his wife, Brenda of East Oolitic and Earl Dean Wilson and his wife, Carla; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Carl, Cecil, Wendell and Chester; three sisters, Dorothy Sego, Doris Wilson and Thelma Wilson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Tom East officiating.
