Obituary of James Scott Polk

Bedford James Scott Polk, 58, of 607 Lincoln Ave., Bedford, died at 6:45 pm on Friday, May 22, 2009 at his residence. Born February 13, 1951 in Bedford, he was the son of James Kenneth and Nellie (Phillips) Polk. Survivors include his mother, Nellie, of Bedford; three daughters, Kelly Lawyer, Ashley Polk and Shayna Polk all of Bedford; a son, Matthew; a brother, Kenneth Polk; grandson, Eli Easterday. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, May 26th at the Dive Cemetery in Bedford. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
