Obituary of Della Rose Peyton

Bedford Della Rose Peyton, 91, of Bedford, died at 11:26 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born January 6, 1916 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Frank and Nellie Mae (Beavers) Ira. She married George F. Peyton on October 23, 1934 and he died on April 4, 1991. Della was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Alter Society, a past member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Legion of Mary, Ladies of the Auxiliary Knights of Columbus and a former member of the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Hazel Park, MI. Surviving Della is one sister, Dorothy Sluder of Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Mary Franklin; three brothers, William Morris Ira, Roy Franklin Ira and Morrell Eugene Ira. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, October 12th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Rick Eldred and Sister Joan Luerman officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary with a Rosary Service at 7:30 pm.
