Obituary of Marilyn Sue Patton

Norman Marilyn Sue Patton, 67, of 2096 Hickory Grove Road, Norman, passed away at 9:15 am on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at her residence. Born August 19, 1942 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Malcolm and Anna (Glassco) Hilderbrand. She married Roger Gale Patton on August 29, 1960 and he preceded her in death. She retired from the Bedford Regional Medical Center as director of housekeeping and was a member of the Henderson Creek Church. Survivors include three sons, Dwight Gale Patton, Kevin Lee Patton and companion, Roxanna Baugh all of Norman and Kenneth Dewayne Patton and wife, Dawn of Bedford; two daughters, Sharon Leann Saunders and husband, Scott of Springville, Brandy Dawn Walls and companion, Stephanie Minton of Bedford; two brothers, Mike Hilderbrand of Little Rock, AR and Richard Hilderbrand of Norman; two sisters, Clara (Dale) Huddleston of Norman and Linda (Eugene) Deckard of Bedford; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Rodney Hilderbrand and Malcolm Hilderbrand, Jr.; two sisters, Glenda Elnora Robinson and Ethel Rose Hilderbrand. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, August 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
