Bedford Scott O. Patton, Jr., 71, of 213 Riley Blvd., Bedford, died at 11:25 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital.

Born March 9, 1934 in Salt Lick, KY, he was the son of Scott O. Patton, Sr. and Lennie (Norris) Patton. He married Patricia Brown on July 19, 1952 and she survives. He had been a truck driver and was a plant superintendent at the Owens Illinois Glass Factory in Muncie, IN. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving with his wife, Patricia of Bedford is one daughter, Cathy Miller of Muncie, IN; one son, Jerry Patton of Orleans, IN; two grandsons, Gregg Manor and Christopher Miller both of Muncie, IN; four step-grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Josh Kline and Amie Dietsch; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Pickler and her husband, Frank of Fishers, IN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral Information

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, April 11th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
