Obituary of Steven Joe Padgett

Bedford Steven Joe Padgett, 67, of Bedford, died at 8:40 pm on Monday, September 1, 2014 at his residence. Born June 2, 1947 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Harold and Geraldine (Haws) Padgett. He retired from NWSC Crane as a pipefitter and was a member of the Leatherwood Christian Church. Survivors include several cousins and caregivers, Nancy Edwards and husband, Junior, of Bedford, Janice Wheeler, Matthew Crane and wife, Toni, Bryant Crane, Haylie Crane and Tia Wheeler all of Bedford; an uncle, Kenneth Haws and his beloved cat, Euro. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 4th at Leatherwood Christian Church Cemetery. No calling hours are scheduled.
