Obituary of Paul A. Oliver

Bloomington Paul A. Oliver, 57, of 3131 Yonkers Dr., Bloomington, IN, died at 4:25 am on Monday, June 19, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born March 5, 1949 in Ellettsville, IN, he was the son of Luther Austin and Clare (Drake) Oliver. He married Kathleen Murphy on December 30, 1967 and she survives. He was a material handler for RCA in Bloomington for thirty-three years and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Surviving with his wife, Kathleen is one daughter, Beth Ann Ritter of Bedford; one son, Paul Bryan Oliver of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Kaylynn Oliver and Carter Ritter; two brothers, Max Oliver of Indianapolis and Edward Oliver of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, June 22nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Brent ONeal officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery in Monroe Co. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21st and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
