Obituary of Evelyn Judah Hill
Bedford Evelyn Judah Hill, 78, of Bedford, died early on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her home.
Born July 15, 1932, in Monroe Co., she was the daughter of Max and Olive (Smith) Judah. She married James M. Hill on May 20, 1955, and he survives. She was a 1950 graduate of Needmore High School. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at RCA and the Bedford National Bank. She attended Gulletts Creek Baptist Church where she was an active member. She later served at the First Church of God in Bedford until becoming bedfast. Donica Memorial Church of God, several other churches and individuals have been involved with serving her spiritual needs while she was bedfast at home.
Survivors include her husband, Jim and their four children, Jana (David) Reed, Carol Lane, Gay (Danny) Lawton, and Nathan Hill, all of the Bedford area; ten grandchildren, Kea (Dan) Deneau, Joshua Reed, Andrea Reed, Lacey Lane, Miranda Lane, Matt (Brandy) Lane, Megan (Jeremy) Stevens, Ben Lawton, Camden Hill and Shelby Hill; ten great grandchildren; her niece, Lana (Arthur) Piller and nephew, Chris (Lisa) Judah. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Warren Judah. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, January 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Roland Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
