Obituary of Genevieve B. Voltz Nygord

Harbor Springs, Michigan, Genevieve B. Voltz Nygord, 93, of Harbor Springs, Michigan died on October 16 at Harbor Springs, Michigan. Born July 6, 1910, in Michigan City, she was the daughter of George and Lillian Voltz. She married Albert G. Nygord, and he preceded her in death. She graduated from Michigan City Elston High School and Sullivan Business College; and she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Reuter and her husband Dr. John Reuter of Bedford, and Patricia Shaw of Harbor Springs, Michigan; one sister, June Schlegelmilch of Michigan City; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert G. Nygord; and two brothers, William and Albert Voltz. Funeral Information Private funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 23, at Day & Carter Mortuary of Bedford, with entombment to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
