I will miss seeing my Uncle Wes sitting outside in his lawn chair under his favorite tree or perhaps taking a walk like he loved to do. When my Daughter Ashley was little (like 5 or 6) we would drive by and see Wes sitting outside. I would tell her "there is Uncle Wes" and we would always wave at him and he would wave back. One time we were driving past and Ashley saw him before I did and she said "Mommy there is Papaw Wes" and I laughed and said "He isn't your Papaw he is your Uncle" then she said "well he looks like a Papaw". The next time I talked to Wes I told him what Ashley said and he laughed and said "Well I can be her Papaw too". she and I will never forget that. He will be missed.
