Obituary of Hazel Pauline Norman

BedfordHazel Pauline Norman, 91, of Bedford, passed away at 5:05 P.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Bliss House in Bedford. Born on December 31, 1921 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Earl Ramsay and Lena (Kinser) Ramsay. She retired from Visteon as a receiving clerk and was a member of Bartlettsville Christian Church. She married Verden Norman on September 2, 1943 and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Phil Norman and his wife Wanda of Terre Haute, IN and Scott Norman and his wife Cheryl of Bedford, IN; five grandchildren, Lana Thralls, Cara Wake, Josh Norman, Matt Norman and Sam Norman; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Axom of Salem and Jo Southern of Bedford; two brothers, Harry Ramsay of Bedford and Jim Ramsay of Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 12th at the Bartlettsville Christian Church with Brother Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11th from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Day & Carter Mortuary and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until the hour of service.
