Obituary of Rebecca Lee Nelson

Bedford Rebecca Lee Nelson, 56, formerly of Sugar Hill Addition in Needmore, died at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 16th at the Bedford Hospitality House. Born July 19, 1948 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of John and Celia (Franklin) Nelson. She was of the protestant faith. Survivors include her father, John Nelson of Ft. Myers, FL; her mother, Celia Hackney of Bedford; one daughter, Sheila Hubbard of Bedford; one son Russell Pridemore of Atlanta, GA; two granddaughters, Jeanelle Pridemore and Danielle Pridemore; two half-brothers, Tom Nelson of FL and Tim Nelson of IN; two half-sisters, Terri and Sherri both of IN. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Gary Hubbard in 2003. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 19th at Lowder Cemetery with Rev. Terry Turner officiating. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
