Obituary of Edna E. Nelson

Bedford Edna E. Nelson, 84, of Bedford, died at 6:48 am on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born February 8, 1921 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William and May (Flick) Marsh. She married Herschell Nelson and he preceded her in death in 1984. She retired from RCA in Bloomington. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Kendall of Mitchell; one son, Ronald Pemberton of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Brian Anderson, Denise Maple, Trevis Pemberton, Terry Briscoe, David Pemberton, Dana Allgood, Tricia Pemberton and Traci Pemberton; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Pemberton of Bedford; several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Townsend of Bremerton, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Robert and Donald Pemberton and one brother, Leroy Townsend. Funeral Information Chapel services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 19th at the Cresthaven Mausoleum Chapel with Don Tirey officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
