Obituary of Thomas P. Neill

Bedford Thomas P. Big Buddy Neill, 59, of Bedford, died at 3:58 am on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Bloomington Hospital after a short illness. Born November 3, 1947 in Greene Co., he was the son of Marvin and Jacqueline (MacIntosh) Neill. He married Sandi (Johnson) Collins (to whom he gave the pet name of Angel) on May 2, 1977 and she survives. He was self-employed. For eighteen years, Tom was a faithful volunteer at the Parkview Primary Preschool Class of Marsha Mathews. He loved all children and was a very special friend to them and their families and all kids loved him. He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics. Tom appreciated and loved his multitude of good friends and family. Surviving with Sandi, his wonderful wife of thirty years, are three step-sons, Robert Jr. Collins and Dusty Collins both of Bedford and James Jay Collins of Bloomington; six grandchildren; three brothers, Jim, Kenny and Joe Neill all of Bloomington; one sister, Edna Wildman of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Lou Brewer. Funeral Information A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 7th at the Parkview Primary School, 1701 Brian Lane Way, Bedford, with Pastor Joe Nelson, Bro. Charles Deckard, Sari Wood and Larry Sumerton speaking. The family would especially like to invite all of Big Buddys children and their families to attend.
