Obituary of Faye P. Hicks

Bedford Faye P. Hicks, 76, of 225 Trogden Lane, Bedford, died at 12:15 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at her residence. Born November 21, 1931 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Elmer and Effie (Knuckles) McKinney. She married Stanley E. Hicks on July 28, 1947 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bedford. Survivors include her husband, Stanley of Bedford; one son, Mike Hicks and his wife, Debbie of Springville; two daughters, Sandy Cobb of Bedford and Diana Ramsey and her husband, Richard of Springville; grandchildren, Scott Ramsey, Jamie Cobb, Jody Cobb, Michelle True, Michael Hicks, Kristen Abbott, Jeff Hicks and Brett Ramsey; great grandchildren, Logan Gore, Dylan Cobb, Jacob Ramsey, Garrett Ramsey, Morgan Cobb, Grace Abbott, Katelyn Ramsey and Chelsea Abbott; three sisters, Wilma McPike, Bessie Whitted and Margie Patton. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Glen Chastain, George McKinney, Roger McKinney, Robert McKinney and Albert McKinney; four sisters, Marie York, Irene Fuller, Violet Skeen and Linda (at birth); twin great grandsons, Kirk and Hudson True. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Paul Neuman officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 5th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, September 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers are: Scott Ramsey, Jamie Cobb, Jody Cobb, Jeff Hicks, Brett Ramsey and Logan Gore.
