Obituary of Ronald Nadeau

MitchellRonald Butch Nadeau, Sr., 58, of Wells Ave., Mitchell, died at 2:50 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in Scottsburg, IN after a six month illness. Born April 28, 1945 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Lawrence Albert and Ruth (Fish) Nadeau. He was employed at Ford Visteon plant in Bedford and was a member of the Eagles, V.F.W. and American Legion Post of Salem. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include one son, Ronald Lee Nadeau, Jr. of Paoli; three daughters, April Hardin of Hanover, Jennifer Gillum of Bedford and Julie Sowder of Ft. Benning, GA; two brothers, Darwin and Richard Gilliatt both of Salem; two sisters, Tresa Hurst of Pekin and Neva Harmon of Birmingham, AL; his caregiver and former wife, Paula Jones Scottsburg; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Josh Nadeau and Tyler and Ashley Maness. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Russell Gilliatt. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Clarence Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Stampers Creek Cemetery in Paoli. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
