Obituary of Jerry D. Myers

Bedford Jerry D. Myers, 75, of Bedford, died at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born February 1, 1935 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of George Roy Pud and Clara Alice (Strange) Myers. He married Judith A. Luallen on May 4, 1956 and she survives. He was a retired mechanic for Summitt & Evans Stone Co. Jerry loved his family and attending auctions. Survivors include his wife, Judith, of Bedford; a daughter, Vickie Hamilton and husband, Mike, of Heltonville; two sons, Randy Myers and wife, Sheila, of Bedford, Lanny Myers and wife, Debbie, of Springville; six grandchildren, Crystal Siegfred of Morgantown, Jeremy Myers of Bedford, Hunter Hamilton of Heltonville, Zarod, Zion and Delaney Myers all of Springville; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Delilah Lee Chase. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 20th at the Sherrill Cemetery in Lawrence Co. with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
