Obituary of Robert Mullinax

Robert Joe Mullinax Sr., 74, of 1907 15th Street passed away at 9:40 P.M. Tuesday, July 3rd at Dunn Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 8, 1933 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Lester Mullinax and Vada (Anderson) Mullinax. He worked for Extruded Alloys for twenty one years and had many friends. He married Marty Black on December 30, 1955 and she survives. Joe was sick for many years and still remained a delight to be with. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed. Surviving with his wife, Marty are two sons: Bobby Mullinax and wife, Panda of Mitchell; Michael Mullinax and wife, Tammy of Bedford; one daughter: Billie Jo Fletcher and husband, Gary of Bedford; three grandchildren: Robbie Mullinax and wife Amber; Jessica Mullinax and their mother Monica Carey and grandson Derrick Jacobi Brown and a special friend: Mary Alice Gardner; two brothers: Don Mullinax of Bedford; Les Mullinax of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters: Judy Staggs of East Oolitic; Betty Beren of Grandview, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral Information He was one of Jehovah Witnesses and private graveside services will be conducted with Brothers Edward Speer and Art Ingerman officiating.
