Obituary of George Edward Mosier
Bedford George Edward Mosier, Jr., 58 of Bedford, IN, died on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel.
Born on August 18, 1954 to George and Twila (Naylor) Mosier. He worked at Bedford North Lawrence Community Schools from 1974 until he retired. He was a member of The Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club, a former member of the Eagles Post #654, where he held the office of Trustee for a number of years. He coached sports in Oolitic and AAU Basketball. Since retirement he has enjoyed IU Basketball, NASCAR, and returning to the stands to cheer on his little buddy, Austin, in sports.
He is survived by his wife, Tanna (Davis) of 29 years; his father and stepmother, George and Janice Mosier; his mother and stepfather, Twila and Dean White; his three sons, Michael Joseph Mosier, Jason Edward Mosier (Misty) of TN and Dustin Lee Mosier (Ashley) of Bedford, four grandchildren, Tierra Mosier of TN, Camron King of TN, Autumn Mosier of TN and Austin Mosier of Bedford, one sister, Debbie Prince (Wayne), two sister-in-laws, Becky Mosier and Debra Darnell, one half-brother, Mike Mosier (Kelly), one stepbrother, Edward White, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles W. Baker in 2009 and Tony L. Mosier in 2008. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2012 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Cody Mosier officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the mortuary.
